This super rare antique Victorian 15 carat yellow gold double trombone twist and love knot link guard chain with dog clip dates to the 1890s. The dog clip is marked 15 for 15 carat gold. The chain is tagged 15C for 15 carat gold. The weight is 30 grams. The links are approx. 2.7mm or 1/8'' wide. The total length of the chain is approx. 117 cm or 46''. The colour is super buttery yellow, not rose and 15ct is truly hard to source these days since the last 15ct gold produced in 1932. Wraps around twice and looks wonderful on the neckline.
